The power of technology tools and techniques to facilitate the design and development of information cannot be overstated. Technical communication has evolved into a profession which now applies to all forms of electronic and hardcopy media including graphics, animation, and sound, as well as text. For a technical communicator, the ability to learn new technologies quickly facilitates not only quick familiarity of the subject matter for information being designed, but also mastering of the continually changing selection of authoring and multimedia software tools that enable today’s technical information to be designed.
A few of the technologies which are reviewed and/or utilized within this website include:
